COMMERCIAL VEHICLE DRIVING - CDL
Program Length: 320 hours / 8 weeks
This 320-hour program will prepare students for employment as tractor trailer/truck drivers. The course includes academic studies such as hours of service regulations, FMCSR requirements, trip planning, verifying load against shipping papers, reporting delays, record keeping and accident procedures.
The course will also include instruction in human relations, leadership, communication and employability skills. Safe, efficient practices include a variety of city, rural and highway driving.
After successful completion of the Commercial Truck Driving course a student can expect to earn a starting salary of $40,000 and up! There are many job opportunities with your CDL Class A License. Trucking companies such as Windy Hill, Comcar Industries and Werner Enterprise recruit from Flagler Technical Institute’s truck driving school.

- Must be at least 21 years of age
Refresher course available by appointment, must hold valid Class A license (40 hrs).
3rd Party testing available Class A,B,C, by appointment.
